Trimox – a new generation antibiotic
Trimox is used for treating some certain infectious bacteria- caused diseases such as ear, paranasal sinus and bladder infections. It is also recommended to buy Trimox for treating bronchitis in people with chronic lung diseases and for the treatment of gonorrhea. Trimox is not effective for treating cold or flu. If you have a kidney disease, your doctor may tell you to take lower doses of Trimox. In rare cases simultaneous use of Trimox and clavulanate may develop hepatitis in aged patients. It is a reversible process; however, hepatitis often develops after the treatment course. Before you order Trimox an antibiotic sensitivity testing of the identified causative agent should be done. The dose of the medicine is determined individually for each patient depending on the severity of the disease. The approximate dose for adults and children above 10(with body mass more than 40 kg) is 500 mg 3 times a day (up to 0,75-1 grams 3 times a day in severe cases); the maximal daily dose is 6 g. Trimox should be used with caution in patients predisposed to allergies.
Trimox in combination with metronidazole is not recommended for patients younger than 18 years old.
