Warnings/Precautions
You should not use Trimox if you are allergic to amoxicillin or to any other penicillin medicine such as:
- ampicillin (Omnipen, Principen);
- Dicloxacillin
- Ampicillin,
- Carbenicillin,
- Oxacillin, and others.
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any other medicines, foodstuff, or if you have the following conditions:
- liver disease,
- asthma,
- kidney disease,
- mononucleosis,
- blood clotting disorder or bleeding, or
- if you have had any type allegy.
Let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or if you are breast-feeding mom.
Also inform your doctor if you are taking other medicines and especially if you are taking any of the following:
- anticoagulants,
- chloramphenicol, macrolide antibiotics, tetracycline antibiotics,
- live oral typhoid vaccine, or hormonal birth control,
- methotrexate and probenecid.
